I'm giving the Batwing a shot
I just picked up a new 2015 Limited today. Traded my 2011 Road Glide Ultra for it. Liked the Road Glide a lot but always wanted to try a Batwing. After a week on a loaner Street Glide, I decided to pull the trigger. I was even able to get the dealer to swap my pretty new Ohlin's shocks from the Road Glide Ultra to the Limited. I've had probably 3 or 4 different threads in the last couple of days asking questions about going from a Shark Nose to a Batwing, sound systems, color, etc.... Thanks to everyone who tried to help me!!!!

I ride my batwing on the highway most every day to work, semi's don't bother me at all. What really kicks up the turbulence is car carriers and cement trucks.

Maybe I'm just too damn fat, or my belly is aerodynamic or something, but I don't ever remember having any problems with trucks of any kind on my batwing. There was one time it was windy as hell out, and as I passed a semi, the lack of wind as I got next to it kind of tossed me a bit, then the return of the wind after I passed it gave me a wiggle...but no worse than any other bike, faired or not, that I'd ridden in the past. I guess if you weren't expecting it, you'd probably have an 'aw ****' moment.

I'm done with them.
When I saw the '16 Heritage Classic has Cruise, that turned me back.
The '14 Street Glide was OK and the '15 Ultra is as well. I just don't like the Bat Wing. Had 2 RK's, 1 right in the middle of 5 Heritages, the last at the end, so they are out of the question. No need for the radio, intercom, nav or CB. It's just a $500 to $1800 dollar thermometer to me.
Only thing left is to decide when to trade, now or spring.
