Yes, it's looking like this years tour is going to be North of the boarder as well.
Creston BC is a good area to tour, good roads, great scenery and and great beer. A tour of the Columbia Brewery finished off with a free schooner of Kootenay True Ale is recommended while in Creston.
The way the oil sector has been hit in Alberta can mean already lower sales in the future.
It's slow now at most HD shops.
The toys are the first thing to go when you have to make mortgage payments and a lot of toys including very low mileage Harleys will be flooding Kijiji pages.
Starting to see that already, although many are still asking unrealistically high prices. They'll learn sooner or later.
Went to my local dealer's customer appreciation day on Dec. 10 which usually features 20% off all in-stock parts and accessories. This year there was a twist - 20% off on all leftover '15 motorcycle inventory. If they had had a '15 RGS I would've been very tempted.

Canadians can't buy a new Harley in the U.S. from a dealer.HD won't allow this. It has to be previously titled. Before the loonie took a dive it would have been well worth the trouble and expense of buying in the states. With the current exchange rate it's actually cheaper to buy in Canada.

I just pulled this off a random US dealer's website concerning selling to Canadians. Many years's ago before I bought my first Harley I looked into buying from the US since I'm just across the river from Detroit. I've been to Biker Bob's and Motor City HD and got the same answers from them. I am talking about new untitled bikes not used. http://www.americanharley-davidson.com/for-our-canadian-customers--canada
