This!

Do yourself and your eyes a favor, and go get some " real" glasses. The two things I will never cheap out on are my eyes.

Great idea! Makes expensive sunglasses useful again. I went a cheaper route and bought Radians bifocal sunglasses from Whitehorse Gear. It was wonderful to be able to read maps and see my gauges. Finally caved in and got fitted with mono-vision contacts.

Awful quick at the trigger aren't you?

I immediately edited my original comment so quickly that my original post doesn't even list that it was edited.
But since you asked a question I'll answer it.

My comment about trolls wasn't because someone doesn't "blindly embrace his idea" for whatever that means.
I don't embrace the OP's idea either but I wasn't going to put down their idea or offer unsolicited advice which is exactly what a troll does.

Read 50cal's post; that's what a non-troll comment looks like.

I got a set in Sturgis a couple years ago - I totally dig them. They stay on nicely, but if you want a new/different pair of glasses, they are easy to get off and put on another pair.

FTW.

I tried those exact same one's, and like another poster said earlier, they dried out. Was constantly having to re-adhere one or both lenses. I finally bought the cheap wrap around sunglasses with bifocal lenses for reading my gauges etc, much better solution.

Nice save almost...

As for your etiquette lesson, you called every poster a troll. I wouldn't consider that proper board etiquette.

A troll sows discontent or provocative posts. None of those were posted.
Honest sincere opinions are not trolling behavior.

I trimmed them with scissors so they would fit the contour of my glasses and be below my line of sight. You can dry fit them and even put them on to getthe height and location.

Once sizes are good, I cleaned my finger prints and you put a drop of water on the lenses and press the pieces into the water and position them. Squeeze out what you can for water under them and done. Directions say full adhesion is 24 hours.

I just finished them up. I think I see just fine over them for riding, and I can certainly read my phone better with them than I could before. I'm anxious to try them out on the bike.
I've used them for years. They've worked very well for me. I got mine at Granger, though.

Hmm, it's pretty dry here in NM, but I haven't had that problem. Maybe it's the brand of the lenses. A YMMV thing I guess.

I tried that. The eye doctor told me it would be a waste of money, my vision is excellent past about 5 feet out from my nose, especially "for someone of my age." haha. So some of us only need reading glasses.

You originally quoted a comment that didn't officially exist so as far as "etiquette" is concerned you should have edited your comment that quoted something that didn't exist.

I'm done here.

It didn't exist?
How did I quote it for comment?

You need to get back on your meds.
