Default Couldnt stand the test ride of the Street Glide

Dunno why people like the tourers HD model(s), test drove one yesterday, a Street Glide....and it wasn't fun at all. Talk about shaking at idle... geez, sure get up the rpm and it smooths out, but f'n wtf do people see in the HD tourers other than the air system ride... the radio? lol whatever.. that sucked too, annoyed the hell out of me even if it did play Metallica(old). And the clutch was insane, talk about tweaking out your hand to grip it, my dyna didn't have that problem, tho a bit tough.. wasn't that bad. Talk about an un-fun bike to ride... I know I am gonna get flamed for this....

My Dyna didn't shake as bad...

Love my fatboy..

Exactly, that's what I said when I though about upgrading to a fatboy a while back... [sm=happybounce.gif]

lol, I have no problems with sportsters... I am wondering why tourers seem so damn uncomfortable.. maybe it was just the city rideing... I did almost get run over tho (quite pipes) oh this was an 07 Street Glide

I didn't care much for the ssssshhhhaaaaakkkiiinnnggg at idle either when I rented an EG Classic a while back but you can't beat that smooth as glass highway glide. My Fatboy idles so smooth in traffic, but at highway speeds the vibration makes my hands numb after a while.

So I ordered me a Road Glide and keeping the Fatboy - best of both worlds.

Hmm only thing that bothers me on my fatboy at highway speeds is the wind.. I don't have a windshield yet(well I do, just don't use it because its in my line of sight(the edge of it)). Mine does not vibrate at 60-70-80 ... dunno about 90+ hehehee

Well the girls liked my Dyna Lowrider a lot more than me.. it did vibrate at idle, but not like the f'n tourer did.. geeez I was all over the place, sure a little throttle at idle with it in N or clutch pulled in smoothed it out some.. but F-that
