Default hi from skaping, where is the best place for a biker to live?

I nearly died in an accident 2 years ago. Now I live like "I was dying" as the song says. Last summer I jumped on my Electra glide with a tent and sleeping bag and rode for 3 months seeing parts of the country I have never seen and meeting amazing people at bike rallies and campgrounds. I hope to do that again this summer. I want to find a place to settle down south where I can enjoy warmer weather and ride year around.
I am retiring and want to live somewhere warmer and cheaper than Michigan. I don't care if it is in a trailer or a shotgun shack. I want to be somewhere where I can ride year round, have biker bars nearby and preferably a beach. Ideas?

Florida has most of what you want if you can stand the summer/Monsoon season. And bugs. And traffic gridlock on the beaches.

I like Florida. My folks retired to Sarasota. Been there in summer and winter and can deal with both. Fla is #1 on my list. Can you recommend a specific town or county?

it is easier to tell you where NOT to go, Lehigh Acres is tops on the list of where not to go.
Golden Gate/Naples is second
North Fort Myers is in the mix ( unless you are in a gated community north of the river like me)
Cape Coral is so so....

Florida sucks from May to August, forget riding, the love bugs and humidity will kill you..

the roads are flat and straight, no fun to ride IMHO, I sold my Florida bike and brought my 03 back to NH.

beware of old people and drug addicts.... you are an easy target for them to hit.

Florida, in the type of area you describe, ain't cheap. Real Estate is going up in price and fast.

Seriously ... I split my time between NH and Florida going back an forth year round, and as far as riding goes NH has it all over Florida.

My Vote is for North Arkansas .. May not ride totally year round but the riding you get makes up for the few days you can't .. Great People from that area as well .. Love the Ozarks ..

What about Arizona? I know it gets hot in the summertime but it is a beautiful state.
