I do it just to relax when I'm cruising along. I used to do it while racing to left the arm pump fade when I had a good straight to go down. I'd probably do it with the right arm as well if I didn't have to control the throttle.

I do it when I am pretending to be Jax Teller (minus the training wheels). Its also opposite of the "right arm-front brake hang", but requires less concentration.

Sometimes I go all out bad *** and hang my left foot off the floor board with a complimentary left arm hang. Chics dig it and it gives me some legit street cred.

I've heard some compare the clutch arm hang with thugs aiming a pistol sideways which we all know is supreme badassery.

Keep working at it bro........

I do it to fit through the doorway when riding my bike down into my parents basement.

I didn't even realize I was such a bad ***. I was just doing it to be comfortable.

Thinking about it, I can clearly see why the OP is intimidated by it as he rides down the street white knuckling both grips and trying his hardest to hold back a shart.
