Smile Just got back

Just returned home after 3334 miles with my bride of 45 years. Traveled up the East Coast from Florida to NJ and then on to Erie PA for "Roar at the Shore". Spent time with my sister in NJ and Son, Daughter in law, and granddaughter in Erie. Been to Hawaii and Alaska, this was by far my best trip.

That's a LONG ride! How long did it take, the actual riding time, not counting the time you were visiting?

We had 9 days on the road for about 2800 miles. The rest were side trips.

Very cool! How close did you hug the coast on the way up to NJ?

Sweet! That's about 300 miles a day, which is a pretty good days ride. And pictures would be nice.

If you were riding I95 in this heat, you and your wife are "hardcore".

Truly envious.

I hope to do what you did one day.

We originally planed to use the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. But the intense heat and the stop and go traffic on the state highways forced us back on to I 95. The weather up north was perfect. Needed a light jacket when riding.
