Default Dealer issue

I would like to get thoughts on my situation on my dyna low rider .
I bought bike july 28th. and the dealer put a 120R on it for me and I still have my NEW 103. However the dealer instructed me that after 1000 hrs. they need bike brought in and they would do the dyno tune on it and ??? service. I called wed to set up my first 1000 mile dyno tune and service. The guy set up a time and I also arranged a pick up because it is very rainy and also I have no one to follow me to dealer or way of transporting bike. Anyway the service guy set everything up and his comment was regarding the 1000 mile service and dyno tune he said " OK everything is set up and its all paid for". That's where I left it and even when I bought bike they reemphasized the 1000 hr. set up. I was not told I had to pay for anything on this 1000 miles service. However they got bike done today and I arranged delivery back to me and they said its ready but I owe them 380.00 for the 1000 hr. service. I said you guys told me it was all handled and taken care of and the guy from service said its all paid for. They said NO the dyno was paid for but you owe 380 for 1st. service. The work order shows 740.00 total and shows a reduction of 360 and balance due of 380... I have no problem paying for what I owe but when I was told everything is paid for on my 1st. service and after the fact I get this stuff is really hacks me off. I have had a problem with dealer saying things but failing to put in writing and vague on stuff. They just changed hands recently and maybe they are trying to recoup some bucks. But you don't screw people. Am I being hard core or legit ?
BTW! Dyno shows 125HP and 134 torque.. for a 120R.. Guess that's ok or is it?????

Did they agree to a 1000 mile service free when you bought the bike? The Dyno and the service are not the same thing.

Had a similar, but different outcome at a dealership in San Diego.

I purchased a used bike from them, and noticed it leaked a little oil when parked after a ride.

They replaced a seal that was leaking, and did not charge me for the service. Said they should have noticed it in pre sale inspection. Something they did not have to do, but wanted the bike right.

The first 1000 mile service is always a negociated item.

When I bought my bike it was used with 7500k.
The final item I negotiated was the 10K service would be free.

They told me that would be fine.
Before I signed the papers I made sure it stated "complementary 10,000 mile service".

I think you learned a $380 lesson; "if it ain't written it was never said", and that goes for anything not just Harley service.

Always get everything in writing, otherwise you don't have a leg to stand on

The 1,000 mile dyno for your 120 engine replacement which is what what you negotiated for when you bought your engine was credited for - the 1,000 service that all Harley's have done and what you would have negotiated for when you bought your bike you have to pay for - just like you'll pay for the 5,000 and 10,000 mile services....
2 separate items

I think they were deceptive and led me to believe its all covered. Then on wed. when I set up appt. for saturday the guy said ok your all fixed up and its all paid for and everything is covered. I accept responsibility however only because I assumed but from now on they only make me smarter.

What do you do with the 120 that you couldn't do with the 103?
