Good grief! (financing ad)
I was just perusing through the local stealer website, trying to see if they were open today (I know they are closed tomorrow), and came across this:
Receive 120 month financing, with rates as low as 7.99% APR on approved credit.
10 year financing????? That's the first I've ever heard of for any vehicle! Talk about crazy!

I'm sorry. But if you find yourself having to finance a Harley for 10 years? Well, I'd say that maybe a financial revisiting of the ol' household budget/income/expenditures/debt structure would seriously be in order. We all know Harley's are great. But - to me - they're not worth having my nuts in a financial/interest draining sling for 10 years. Just my take.

If'n I did it right, on 18 G's @ just 7.99, its $4302.00 more in interest from 5 years to 10. Payment is anout $150 a month less. It sounds like Harley is the one that needs more $$. What a deal!!!!!

I bet some people got a home equity loan to buy their Harleys. So they would have a twenty year loan to pay off their bike. On the upside, they are probably paying less than 7.9 % interest

I seriously had to do a triple take, thinking I had read that wrong....120 months....that's about the scariest thing I've ever seen!

A guy I know tried to finance a Harley but HD Finance wouldn't give him a loan, nor would any bank. I guess he has the world's worst credit rating or something. The Harley shop owner finally agreed to finance the bike for him if hegot the co-signature of a credit-worthy individual. He signed the deal and the shop charged this dude 22% interest. [:'(]
I believe I'd have gone without the new bike.

I know of a couple of people that have their cars, bikes and home all on the same note. They say then they only have to write one ck every month. Must be a big one!
