Default Ebay Score

I finally decided to get a shop manual for my 04 Ultra. Checked at the dealer and they wanted almost $100.00 for it. Not that important to me. Was surfing Ebay and found one in an auction. Starting bid was $20.00 so, I figured I'd post a max bid of $35. Waited the 2 days for the auction to end. Got the email that I had won the auction. Cost, $20.00 and $5.00 to ship. Received it last Friday, doesn't have a single greasy fingerprint, folded, ripped or missing pages. You would think "brand new". I'm happy. LOL

Can't beat that. I've been getting some great deals on eBay just by being patient and watching regularly

I just picked up one off e-bay for $29 and it too was "like new".
It isn't a $100 manual but certainly saved me about $30 over new.

I've made some killer scores on eBay. Timing and patience is key.

You are lucky..Someone could have easy grabbed it for $35.50 at the end. Always throw a minimum bid in if you really want something to lock in seller. In this case, it would have been $20. Then, 2-3 seconds before the end of the auction, depending on how fast your internet speed is and of course what it is up to then, bid you maximum in as a second bid. You are lucky, even $50-$75 would have been a great deal.

Thats pretty much what I did. I bid the original $20 and then put a max bid of $35. I've been on bids that folks wait until the last 2 or 3 minutes of the auction and then start bidding. My $20 would have gone up to $35 as others bid but, that didn't happen, lucky me.

A lot of people bash ebay but I've gotten some major deals over the years! It does suck to sell stuff on there but if your patient and know what your looking for there's a lot of great deals on bike parts to be had.

Good score on the manual. Anytime I see a manual for $20 or less no matter what model Harley I buy it because I know that sooner or later somebody is going to be looking for one.
