Still thinking of going however tomorrow is time n half for me and it looks like a soaker for the day let's see money to buy new pipes or ride 180 miles in the rain one way? Still thinking!

 

We live about an hour and a half away, so we usually ride up for the day on the weekend. Last year or the year before, it was a SOB of a hot a$$ day when we went. Rode the mountains around Lake George and hardly went into town. Great riding up there. Even on the roads not so well marked on the map. We actually have more fun at the car show they have there in Sept. and spend several days there then.
No Americade for me this year, cuz we're going to the antique motorcycle show in Rhinebeck on Sat.
Looking forward to that.

We're leaving Thursday morning to head up there.

It's got to be better than last year. It was a downpour when we pulled out of the driveway, rained all the way up & it seemed like it rained every time we got on the bikes.

im headed up on wednesday. been waiting on a rally to buy a bag. but i wont be there long.

 

With my job, hard to get away this time of year. I am the electrical insoector and everyone wants inspected this time of year. I hope to go Sat morning

 

It's really a huge Goldwing fest.

 

I might godown on Saturday. Trying to line up some others from work to go too. I usually spend a lot of time in the summer riding through the Adirondacks. Lots of great roads and great scenery.
