I have a 2006 Soft Tail Standard and want to change the front end to a Fat Boy style. I need to know if I have to change the forks and triple tree or if just add headlight and fork tins and covers. If there is a kit please let me know. Thanks, Rowdy

The fork lowers are different on a FXST vs. a FLST. On a FLST, the top portion of the lower legs are taller, to merge with the cowbells. Same year-range lowers will fit same year axles/rims/calipers. Axle/wheel bearing size are what you need to look for. Fork tubes, are the same. Triple trees are different, with threaded bosses on a FLST version, to accommodate the fork "tins". All told, it's simply nuts, bolts, screws, bearings and oil seals.
