Idiots and a Harley!
Some people should just NOT be allowed to hold a wrench! I recently bought a bike that I had fully intended to tear down and rebuild even though it ran (supposedly) OK. The things I have found in tearing down this bike had me shaking my head with every turn of a wrench, socket or screwdriver.
I am convinced beyond a doubt that who ever the person or persons were that worked on this bike before me didn't know a piston head from their sister's titty!!

Been there brother.
Sticking throttle grip pinched at grip and twisted around the throttle body wheel (pulley), Rear axle spacer missing and the axle adjustment bolt threaded into the side of the rear caliper bracket. Stripped screw heads and threads everywhere. Throttle grip lock screw replaced with wrong thread phillips head, 5psi air in tires, badly miss-aligned, screw head broken off sissy bar mounts, wiring - good grief! That's just off the top of my head. LOL.
Almost amusing...

Front Head oiled, Rear Head, NO OIL!
A Pan will run about 35 miles without oil to the top end, Picked up this bike and the guy that built the motor used a shovel Base gasket on the rear cylinder by mistake.
To add insult, when I got back to the seller, turns out the Guy that built the motor has recently died from a Bee Sting. how cool is that. LOL
