I'm figuring out how to finance my SG, which I'm buying through the military Autosource program. I have the option of going with Harley financing (aka Eaglemark) - and that 4.99%/60 mos they're offering is better than USAA or Navy Federal (my other top choices). However, I've heard lots of horror stories about Eaglemark's screwups and customer disservice and not much in the way of positive experiences. What do y'all think?

 

No problems or mishaps for me. I only had the loan for 9 months, but they got my the title quickly after I paid off the loan.

 

for me so far so good. AlthoughI have not any kind of test to their customer service. But no screw ups as far as initial paper work,etc.

 

My husband and I have now financed two motorcycles with them within the last year. He hasn't had his long enough yet to even make the first payment, but I've mine financed since October. I've had nothing but good experiences. The initial loan process was completely painless, and every time I call with a question or concern, they're quick to get me the answer I need.

 

take the 4.9 while you can, that is a really good rate for a bike.

 

Just keep both eyes open. I used my credit union. HD was advertising this great rate, but when I got there I had tobuy gap, extended warranty, andpay forservices up front. Once I refused the rate went up to 12% and my credit score is over 800. I had to leave and come back the next day with my own finance.

 

Ditto, except it took me 3 1/2 years to pay it off. The only real complaint I have is the fact that they have no online presence. You can't go online and check your balance, payoff etc.

Oh yeah, online account access would definitely be a plus! I do everything online, so this is pretty frustrating for me. Yes, you can set up automatic payments online, but that's pretty much it.

 

I've financed two bikes through them. Paid both off early with no penalties. Nothing but positive experience with them. On both occassions they beat my Credit Union's rate by a large margin.
