Default Born Free Motorcycle Show

I went to Silverado yesterday for the 9th annual Born Free Motorcycle Show. The show was massive, the music outstanding, and the heat unbearable. Still, I got a few pics to share.

A lot of good looking bikes and some that don't look rideable.

Not much there I'd care to ride, but I admire the craftsmanship that goes into them. That shift lever on the transmission - I've ridden a couple like that, only with ***** on the end, back in the 60's when that was popular. Probably the most awkward riding position I've ever ridden, foot on clutch, right hand on bar, left under your thigh, but somehow it was fun. Had to be real careful at stops, wouldn't do to lean left in gear!

Pure ART. Love the Knuckle, Pan and Triumph. One chopper needs a seatbelt to keep from riding on the back fender! Or you could back it up to a swimming pool and let kids use the seat as a slide.

Thanks for sharing. I always enjoy seeing what is going on around the country. Some of the craftsmanship is outstanding.
