Rear tire questions?

Rear tire questions?
Ok.... I forgot start out for work this morning and as I'm going up a hill I feel a little wobble from the rear of my bike? I so I pull over and notice that it is low on air, so I slowly ride up to the light where a tire repair shop is and fill it with air and I noticed a screw in the center of the tire.
Now this tire isn't that old and might have a few thousand miles on it, so can it barely patched? I or must it be replaced? I this is a tubeless rim.
Now what has got my goat today is that this is the second time within a month I have gotten a screw in a tire. First my car now the bike! And the angle of both is the same direction and almost in the exact same spot on the tire for both!

As long as you didn't ride with the tire flat a plug should be ok. Couple of years ago I had a rear flat going 80 mph. A biker behind me pulled over when I got stopped and to see if he could help. I was about a 1/4 mile from an exit and said if I could get the bike to that exit it would save him from having to go over 20 miles back up the interstate to be able to turn around and come back in get me with his trailer. I limped the bike to the exit and we trailered it to an Indy bike shop in Clarksville, AR. The mechanic at the shop said he could plug it for $20 and it should be fine. What a mistake!! I had Dunlop Elites and by limping the bike plus just getting pulled over after the flat occurred I had busted the radial belt in the sidewall. I took off and headed for Florida with a stop in Destin. While at 40+ mph everything was fine but whenever I was doing 30 mph or less the bike wobbled violently (I think the centrifugal force at speed kept the tire more rigid)..not even sure how I made it from AR to FL!! Luckily the Harley dealer in Destin had a sale going on and only paid $400 for a new front and rear installed and a safe continued trip home to Orlando. You might try the plug and see if you experience any wobble and go from there...Good Luck

I have one of these: https://www.stopngo.com/motorcycles/ so far, I've never had to use it on my bike, but works great on my riding mower . the mushroom headed plug will stay much better than just the 'rope' style plugs.
