Question Looking for info regarding a small battery operated "Tracker" for Harley....

Buddy is loosing his garage space for his bike for a short time...week or 2? Anyway he thinks he would at least sleep better since his bike being outside and did get stolen if he was able to track it...I keep telling him he has good insurance and he is being a worry wart but I get it...Times are tough and thefts are up..
So I thought I'd check to see if anyone recommended a descent tracker?

For such a short period he may need to think outside the box. Pay to store it at the local Harley Dealer, use a buddy/family members garage, rent a storage building for 1 month etc.

If he has an iPhone he can keep it hidden on his bike somewhere and just do a "find my phone" if it winds up stolen. There are also some tracking apps available for other phones if he has an old one laying around. You can wire up a charger and keep the phone powered and then use an app running on the phone to track it.

Here are a pretty cool how-to links. I have not done any of these myself, but just browsing them they seem to be fairly basic.
