Wow, who gives a flying crap. Especially at bike night. How does one take bike night seriously.

 

the funny thing is, this "kickstand" is the one item that most impressed me about Harley Davidson.

The proper, biker term IS "kick stand." When you go to an event the flyer never reads,"...registration starts at 9 a.m, jiffy stands up at 11 a.m.," now does it bunky.

Funny, I was aware of the term jiffy stand but never actually saw or heard it being used until I got involved with forum boards. The internet has poisoned my mind.

If you wanna be one, ask one when you see one.

Probably not. I walked in with the part I need to replace and set it on the counter and they usually say, "what is it?" I've even had trouble with them being able to find stuff for me when I give them actual Harley part numbers!

 

It's a kick stand on every bicycle and motorcycle except Harleys. Why does Harley need a different name for a common item?
