Riders that own two or more Harley's
1. What was the main reason for your purchase of a second or third Harley. To have a bar hopper and a touring bike? I have a wide glide but want a touring bike also to go on long rides more comfortably. Thinking of a road king or street glide.
2. Did your wife give you a hard time about having more than one Harley?(If you have a wife). My wife is not to into me getting a second bike. For women riders (If you have a husband).

1. first hd was a sportser. wide glide is the second and bought it for highway/long distance riding. i'm not into the touring bikes at this point. sporty is my go to bike 90% of the time. just plain fun.
2. i'm a man. i do what i want in my house. anybody that has an issue with it can find the door.

I have 3 bikes,
2017 SGS set up for touring with wife.
2005 RK.....set up as a single....too many upgrades and chrome for trade or sale.
2014 Sporster just because....and it's nimble for quick local trips.
Have a great wife who goes out shopping for HD stuff on her own...she loves the life.

1. Had a Sportster was happy with it for quite a few years, I actually still have it mainly because I still like it and wont sell it for two grand utill its 20 or more years old. I bought the Super Glide for two up riding, after a few years of leaving her at home she finally started riding on the back, had to get a bike that would do two up better than Sportster.
2. No she didnt bitch, she usually doesnt, her only rule is "pay the bills first".

Up until this summer, I had three bikes. My son took my 93 Heritage out for a ride, was involved in a accident with a vehicle making a left turn, and totaled that bike. I still have two. a 14 Limited and a 12 Slim. I take the Slim for a couple hours or a day with multiple stops. I take my Limited for looong day or overnight rides. I love having the option.
As far as my wife, she doesn't try to tell me what to do. When I bought the Heritage, she was 100% in favor of it. Not so much for the Slim. But it's still in my garage. So no worries with that. In some ways, I am a lucky man.
