Default 2018 HD’s look awesome

Stopped by dealer yesterday...WOW...they look great.

Fatboy, Breakout....so sweet!! I might have to add a horse to the stable...Breakout would look good next to my ‘17 RG.

Thats why i said beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The op likes the ones i dont and i assume he likes those the best. They covered alot of bases stylewise so everyone likes something. They knew not everyone is going to like everything. I still think anyone who likes the fatbob must be blind though.

So, when is your appointment with the eye doctor for a new glasses fitting?

True, BUT...It usually just is just an engine TYPE change, maybe an upgrade or 2...but they've never turned the whole damn bike into a JAPPER! I look at the new Softails, & all I see is "Honda VLX".

Not 100% sure I'm gonna be correct, but here is my prediction...the new Softails are NOT going to sell well, and within a year or 2 Harley is gonna start making REAL Softails & Dynas again...giving them some name like "Softail traditional" because it's "All about choices". And,so as to not admit that they were wrong by producing these monstrocities. Even HD salesmen have told me that people just don't like them, & sheepishly admit they ain't selling. When was the last time you heard an HD salesman admit to poor sales?

Here's how it happened, & Dickey don't lie...Was at 2 different dealerships in different towns. Was outside looking at the bikes, salesman came up to me with that big sharklike grin & said "so; whaddaya think of the new Harleys?" I told him what I thought, the grin disappeared, he looked down at the ground & admitted "Yea; that's what I've been hearing". When I asked if they were selling, they said "well; we've sold a few, but not anywhere near the numbers we have before" (they became rice).

I may be wrong; I've been wrong before...but, I've also been right, too!

I've never liked the fat boy before but this new version is pretty nice...minus the headlight...that guy should be hit over the head and fired lol. Still love the touring lineup, not huge fan of the blacked out look on the specials but I'd take a standard road king in a heartbeat...maybe next year if they put the 114 in the touring bikes I'll be in the market.

Yeah I agree, not to impressed with some of the new models, especially that horrible looking FatBob.

Think I'll be keeping the 14 RoadKing & the 12 Nightster around for awhile.
