What was last year of carbureted Electra Glide?
I'm considering an ole Evo era Electra Glide. I want a carborated bike, but all I've seen are MM fuel injection. So I'm wondering what years I need to be looking for.
i might consider a carborated Twin Cam too.
Once again, what years are carborated.
Luckily I'm ok with a Delfi Fuel Injection too
I think the older bikes are cool, reliable and still old school, while the seem better built to me. Though they are old enough to need some TLC.
fun bike to tinker with if you want, but still reliable.

Option as fuel injection is what I was hoping to hear. So I should be able to find a later year Evo, with a carb. That's what I want.
i already have a 2004 Road King that I just can't part with. I have a choice of selling my old bike, and getting a newer model EGlide. Or keeping my old bike and getting another older E. Glide. It looks like I'll have 2 older biked, in good shape , that allows me to ride one , while I wrench on the other. I know most people recommend getting the newest , best bike you can afford. But I love my old 2004 Road King, it's a good bike. I don't think it's a good idea to get rid of a good bike that you love.

I think the Ultra Classic had no Carb option, maybe after '95, but certainly on the twin cams. Just something to keep in mind, depending on which model you specifically seek. You might be looking for a Electra Glide Classic or Standard, which could be either carb or efi, depending on the year.
As stated above, after 2007 no models were available carbureted.

2005 for the eglide, I had one. Also 05 for the road king that I have now.
There was a model that had a carb in 06, but can't recall what one it was, maybe a Dyna?
That the whole reason I bought my 05 RK, and the reason I am keeping it forever.
NO damn complicated wiring and computer to worry about, plugged up injectors and that sort of stuff.+
My bike has an ignition module, and that's about it for electronics.
It was upgraded to the SE version when I bought it, so I have a spare if ever needed.
Keep it in my saddlebag just in case.
