exactly! took only 1 minute on a 114 fatbob to come to that conclusion. i love my bikes but, the new ones are flat out better, stock to stock of course.

i hated my dyna when i first got it because it felt like a bus/land yacht compared to my sporty: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...l#post14488782

rode the fb and it was almost an instant, "they got this s*** right!":

114 is crazy good! In stock form! All that is needed it more volume. Tons of slip-ons out there to take care of it.

I read through all of this and was going to make a witty response and then decided that I was indifferent to it...

I felt the same way when I traded my 48 for the FXDLS for the same reasons, then once I hit the highway on my 350 mile journey home, I found the cruise control button. Remorse went away with a push of a button!

When ever I find myself missing the Dynas I just hope on my 08 WG and go for a ride and although it is always a great ride I like my 2017 RGU just a tad better

i had the same epiphany at 65+ lol. it clicked but, the around town manner still suck. the sportster still gets most the in town action. the new sofites handle like sportsters. sounds crazy but, it's true. on fear of running one around town and having to fight the bike in tight areas and turns.
