I no longer wear one. I did when I had to enter a military post. They are no longer mandatory personal protective equipment. Now, you must have a helmet, eye protection, long sleeves and over the ankle boots.

Anything you can do to be more visible is ok to me. I wear a black leather jacket but with hi viz striping and a black/hi viz full face helmet.
I don't give a **** what anyone thinks of my over protection. I have been down in minimal gear and it sucks ***. Never rode without full gear since.

So to me a hi-viz vest is a good idea. I like the Harley one posted earlier except I don't wear anything that says Harley on it.

I try and wear something reflective at night plus I turn on the white accent LEDs that were on the bike when I bought it.

I was inches away from sh*tcanning HD Forums because of all the ignorance and negativity recently flooding in. But this high viz vest crap may push me out. Are there any real freedom-living real men left in the Harley world?? Sure won't find them in this thread. Obviously too much estrogen getting into the drinking water.
If this gets any petticoats out there upset, go to the nearest liberal arts college and find your safe space.
Man, I can't believe your safety vest crap.
If you even slightly believe a vest is going to wake up some texting/drunk/stupid/infotainment surfing/uninsured idiot (but I repeat myself), you will die. Around here (and your neighborhood, too, I'm sure) they mange to run into lights-flashing fire trucks, ambulances, and cop cars.
Stand up for your freedom or die on your knees.

I wear mine so the deer can see me. Deer in Idaho are illiterate and can't text, so it's all good.

On second thought, I agree, you should shitcan it and go away.
