Nothing worse than sliding down the pavement palms first then needing to wipe your butt. Oh wait I can’t. I don’t wear gloves.

Gloves for me 100% of the time.

learned long ago in my bicycle riding days that having your hands hit the pavement at any speed is gonna hurt for a long time . so i wear gloves all the time . same with helmet and eyeglasses , although my license now says the glasses are required for me !

I always wear gloves. The temperature determines the weight of glove I wear.

I Always wear gloves, light perforated harley gloves when it's hot and some Fox Creek Elk skin gloves at night and when it's wet or cold.. Love the Elk skin gloves, so soft with plenty of feel, but a little hot when it's warm out..

The type of glove matters. You just can’t toss on a pair of WallyMart winter specials and expect, them to feel good.

I'm 100% gloves.

Had a buddy that went down at about 20mph without gloves. He slid on his palms of his hands and the steel toes of his boots. His only injury was to his palms. They were basically deleted. The bandages looked as big as throw pillows wrapped around both his hands...

for weeks...

That hand looks like it was tucked under his body as he slid. Thats the thing about sliding... you don't get to choose where your body parts are and which ones get to the take the grinding of the asphalt.

A full face helmet will help you keep your nose and chin
