The best advice I can give is to call George or DJ at Pro-Action. Talk with them, you will be glad you did. I love their product. In reading a lot of threads about setuo, adjusting, re-adjusting, etc I realized I made the right choice. They set them up right for me the first time and I never had to touch them riding single or double. It is all in the valving. They can explain it better.
You will be VERY happy when you make the change and ask yourself why you did not do it sooner.

Progressive 444 FST's...
Just put a set of Progressive 444 FST's on my 2010 Super Glide last week. Wow, what a huge improvement without having to refinance the bike... $539 to my door {4 days, Maryland to Tucson} with no tax or freight from Eastern Performance Cycles.
I went with the standard - not heavy duty and at 190# {ATGATT} the lightest setting gives me half an inch of sag. With my bride {135#} we are right at one inch. I can stiffen them up by 9 revolutions/threads but doubt I will ever need to change much.
Small road imperfections simply disappear and the bike floats over the larger stuff with none of the abrupt bottoming out of my old, obviously worn out shocks. As noted you have lots of choices but bang for the buck these Progressive's are awesome.
As always.... Opinions and YMMV.

With suspension options you sort of get what you pay for. For example, generally speaking, even the cheaper option from Progressive Suspension will be an improvement over stock. As you move up the Progressive ladder, the better they get. Also, Ohlins suspension are expensive yet usually have been reported to be an improvement over the Progressive Suspension shocks.
You may get some arguments, but you have to decide what your budget and needs are.
