Harley recall? Brakes
Guess I missed the thread? But if not I saw a story on a recall for brakes. 2008? To 2011?
Can cause death. Duh.... Why must they ad this in the story?

Well, it's "an" ABS recall, so I suppose it certainly could be "the" ABS recall.
The only head-scratcher for me is that ABS problems have been reported by members here for years that are not covered by the recall.

Hasn't this been a recall for a long time now? It only affects the ABS bikes right?

It's a voluntary recall. The reason the brakes are failing is because people don't change their brake fluid like they are supposed to and the old fluid corrodes the system causing a fail
