I'd kinda like to think that once they do this to your bike, they own the control module. The moco is saying this recall is all you need for the unit to keep functioning properly,
So if it craps out afterwards the new unit is on them right?
I can dream...

This past summer I had a 35k done and I asked the dealer to flush the system and throw on a set of rear pads.
I just spoke to the dealer today and asked if I still needed to do anything about the recall. They stated that even though I just had the brakes flushed, they would be contacting me and scheduling me to come in for the recall because a different type of brake fluid will now be used.
So, I'll wait and once they are ready that old bitch will go back to the shop and they can do whatever they need to do to make it good to go...

I have a 2012 flhtk that just started exhibiting the hard brake. Called and confirmed that I am not covered. There is no difference that I have heard of between the years. I think that nhtsb just don't have enough complaints from these years.(they have mine now) I'll be out $200 for the flush. I only bought it last year, so I assume that the PO was lazy with maintenance.
