I had MC2's on my last bike (12 FB Lo), and they did wear a lot better than the stock tires. They like to be run at relatively high pressure as well. I left the dealer after having them put on, and the dealer set them at 32 psi. The bike was handling like crap. Got home, ran the pressure up, and never had an issue with them again. Good tires.

Had them on my Heritage for about 6000 miles, then they started cracking in between the treads. Went back to Dunlops

3rd set of Commander 2's Never looked back.
I ride in rainey Florida and the mountains of Tenn. They work great in both conditions.

I need to get off Dunlops, I can't get near 10K out of them and I don't ride super aggressive. I've had good performance out of the Avons on the Softail but the SG eats up Dunlops every season.

I've heard really good things about the Michelins, but I run Avon Cobra's. Really happy with them and the price is pretty good from Dennis Kirk.

My stock dunlops were cupping at 6,000 miles, removed at 7,500, could not stand the noise any longer. My 2nd set are commander 2's, were cupping at 6,000 miles, removed at 7,500. I have now installed American elites, we'll see. Tire pressure has all-ways been kept at 5-10 psi over what the manual calls out. 2012 FLHTK with 15,000 miles. Maybe there is something wrong with my bike, we'll see.

It's not your bike. It the person doing the balancing or his equipment.

I would run the pressure in your owners manual. These tires are so stiff anyway and running 10 over put you on a very small foot print for breaking. Running on that edge especially when windy would soon scrub uneven places.
Know back when I had a spoke front wheel, they never could balance it quite right and it wanted to cup at the end of all the short ran gashes on the Metsler 888

I'll second that. When these wear out I will order more.
Love them

When I experimented with different tires, I did two things. One, for a starting point, I looked on the side of the tire for the recommended cold pressure. Two, I learned how to read the wear pattern on my tires and then adjust the air accordingly. Doing both of those things, helped me to get more mileage out of my tires than most. Just an idea for ya.
