Here's another Jerry-rig of mine. Israeli Army surplus bag, vintage 1970s. Actually has Hebrew writing on it from the soldier who owned it. Kinda cool.

In my opinion, that HD messanger/laptop bag is very nice. It feels like nice quality and looks good. Certainly is convenient with the sissy bar strap. Not a fan of the big HDMC on it, but whatever. Of course it's pricey.
I ended up going with the HD backpack, because it seems to be alot more versatile for either carrying a laptop to work OR using for other larger non-work related items.

I have this bag I think I paid 129.00 at the dealer. Its well constructed and FITS the bike. If you need a good shoulder bag, there a lot more than 129.00 or even msrp of 179.00.. As for the murse - Im GUILTY! I need a place for my insulin and Epipen and other fun items. I also keep 2 shades of lipstick in there.. lol...
