I have to tote my laptop around for my job, and I often ride to my job. I currently put the laptop in a sleeve, then put that in a square swingarm bag. That bag is pretty useful for this and its square shape also allows me to put gym clothes with sneakers in the bag. Not both at the same time, but either, or. Triangle swingarm bags won't allow this, no matter how big.
This Harley "messenger bag" in the link below would allow me to get rid of the swingarm bag, and would just attach to my sissy bar. But goodness. It's a biker murse. haha.

Kinda funny how bikerness can intersect with yuppiness these days. Then again, glad I work for a living.

Or, I could stick with my jerry-rigged version. Made this out of an old Italian Army rucksack and some leather and backpack straps I had laying around. I could put it on the pillion side, but it actually never touches my fender as is.
I use it when I have to tote both laptop and gym clothes. Gym clothes go in rucksack. Rucksack goes in washer after a while. heheh.
