Another old school trick is to use a clutch cable guide.

If you can put some of those plastic zip ties around something you could hook the bungees to them and when no longer needed just cut them off and throw them away.

I use a travel bag that you secure with a velcro strap around the sissy bar on my RK, I can hell you it holds a 12 pack nicely, works for what I need it for.

Duffle bag with my hunting gear and boots on the rear seat (bungee cords to the grab handle). 20” O/U shotgun on the front handlebars and 12lb wild turkey on the luggage rack.

My truck was out-of-service at the time, so rode my m/c up to my friends house in the country for a day of turkey hunting.

Looks like you did OK w/o the truck. I wasn't sure if you were coming or going.
