knew a bloke from UK, said he took his car to 100mph everyday, somewhere, somehow,
he taken racing lessons, and ran the 'ring, and was very competent (we did SCCA with him)
here is a good thread on taking your bike up to 100, have you guys done this just to check for wobbles/weirdness?

why, or why not?

Maybe once a twice a season just for kicks, but I'm getting too old to eat pavement at 100MPH.
I also like the idea of keeping my driving privileges.
When I was younger is was a much different story, had no fear of speed or crashing at all.
Maybe common sense has taken over in my older years.

August, 2000. Flat road in S.D so I thought I'd see what my Ultra would do. Top speed was 106 and I have no plans to ever do that again on two wheels.
Recently, I found myself doing 90MPH just keeping up with traffic!
My favorite "cruise speed" is usually 75-77 MPH on the freeway and 60-65 on nice two-lane roads under perfect conditions.
Too old now to start crashing and getting speeding tickets!
