Pity the fool that I am.
I just got off the phone with my dealer to schedule the 5,000 mile service for my bike. Service scheduling is currently at 4 to 5 weeks out. My scheduled appointment is for June 23rd and I have 4,896 miles on the odometer. I made the mistake of buying the prepaid service plan. As of today I have just over 3 years remaining on the contract. I should have just gone with DIY. Live and learn I guess.

If money no object.
Do an oil change yourself.
Skip the filter to save $$ if need be.
That is what I would do to get the break in oil out of the engine as recommended.
Then have them do the full 5k service in a month or two.
As for prepaid maintenance.
Read your contract for cancelability!
There are so many negative clauses in these, such as only serviceable at the selling dealer.
Good luck.

I guess you don't have any dealers doing the "Express Lane" services
