I just got off the phone with my dealer to schedule the 5,000 mile service for my bike. Service scheduling is currently at 4 to 5 weeks out. My scheduled appointment is for June 23rd and I have 4,896 miles on the odometer. I made the mistake of buying the prepaid service plan. As of today I have just over 3 years remaining on the contract. I should have just gone with DIY. Live and learn I guess.

How many miles will be on the bike by June 23rd? It wont blow up if you go over 5000 without service. Id ride it and not worry about it and take it in on June 23rd.
I got stung with a service contract years ago and made it pay. But, contract folks were first in-line for service and I never experienced an issue. Did you tell service you were VIP???
