What do you think Harley should do to improve sale & attract new riders
1) reintroduce old popular models with new tecnology (example: nighttrain, fxr, bad boy, softail standard, electraglide standard, road king custom, etc..). Introduce one model each year with the original cc’s that it came out with. This way you could keep the price down. Should be priced 10 to 12 grand. 2) more choices at purchase for newly purchased models (example: seat choice, bar choice, chrome or blacked out, etc..). 3) service prices need to be slashed in half. Its ridicoulous paying $350 to $400. My indy can do it for half that. 4) general revamping of prices. Softails should be priced no higher than $15000 and touring models no more than $22000. 5) listen to the customers, go to rallies & see what people are building, and stay current with the trends. They always seem to be late on trends. (Example: came out with the rocker after the chopper trend was over, dropped the nightrain when blacked out bikes became popular, now starting to put big tires on touring bikes and now that trend is fading, etc..). 6) stand behind there product by offering better warranty, maybe 4 years. Let me know what you think. Some ideas ive had.
