Ordered a Gloss Black 107 Slim 18'. I will set it up for a comfy 2up. Still have to find a good 2up seat among other add-ons. I am looking forward to it, feeling considerably blessed, have not told wife.

I know this will come off harsh...

You got the wrong bike IMO.

I could NEVER imagine riding 2 up on my 18 slim... The damn thing is tiny.

Dont get me wrong, I love the slim, but IMO its a TERRIBLE 2 up bike.

Idk why it would be any different than 2up on my old heritage?... Since they are the same size. I am 6'4" she is 6' never had a problem

I have a 17 Heritage as well. While I would like to agree, I simply cant. The Heritage is taller, has a different rear fender that seems to suit 2 up riding quite a bit better.

Two of you on a slim will look like the proverbial monkey and football joke.

ETA: you alone will be cramped on the slim at 6'4"... I am 5'9" and I am a bit cramped in the legs. Im planning on doing forward controls.

Again, only my opinion. Good luck with your purchase.

Intresting. I know the Heritage and fatbob have an extra 1" rear travel but I'm confident that has to do with suspension and possibly seat padding. I believe the frames are the same and the riders triangle aswell, with exception of slight changes in the seats. I didn't notice any difference between my poofy seated heritage and the slim. Hopefully all goes well, if there's something I'm unaware of I do like feedback

Let me go out and shoot a picture of my bikes side by side.

From the dimensions, you are right, they SHOULD both be capable, but man, just looking at them, nobody has said "why dont you throw a riders seat on your Slim"....

Again, dimensionally they are almost identical, but something about the looks just makes the Heritage appear much larger and more capable of carrying 2 people around town. I dont believe I would tour on the Heritage at all, at least not more than 150-200 miles in a day.

I tried to get a decent shot to show the floor board height difference. I would GUESS the heritage boards are 2" lower than the slims.
