As far as Armor All, it's also not my choice of products. If it works for you Cool.
Wasn't Armor All, but silicone spray just the same, in 75 - 76 before we were married, my then girlfriend, surprised me when I got home from work by showing me how she had cleaned and polished my bike. How could you not love that. Well, I took off on the KZ900 Kawasaki with some engine upgrades and soon as I hit 2nd lifting the wheel, I almost came off the bike
Rode back, washed the seat several times and asked/told her to never do that to my seat again.
That's not as bad as the time she was trying to get tar off the Camaro with an SOS pad, but that's another story.

Just finished a 700 mile ride on a Road King, in the passenger seat. I've never sat on hot coals but I think I have a reasonable idea of what it feels like. Pinched nerves, poor circulation... this is after putting on a home made sheepskin seat cover, trying beads, (under fleece, over fleece...), trying upholsterer's foam under and over, trying the beads on their own, etc., etc. Just hoping permanent damage hasn't been done. Help?
How the seat is made and what it is made of matters a ton- check this out
