Default Sore butt

Just finished a 700 mile ride on a Road King, in the passenger seat. I've never sat on hot coals but I think I have a reasonable idea of what it feels like. Pinched nerves, poor circulation... this is after putting on a home made sheepskin seat cover, trying beads, (under fleece, over fleece...), trying upholsterer's foam under and over, trying the beads on their own, etc., etc. Just hoping permanent damage hasn't been done. Help?

What year Road King? OEM seat or After Market? Usually, the OEM seats are junk. My wife couldn't ride more that 50 to 75 miles on the OEM seat on my '04.
I bought an Ultimate Rider and Passenger seat. The passenger seat is wider and she can ride comfortably for a couple hundred miles at a time.

I have a Mustang that I got basically for the passenger area for my wife. When I do 500 mile days I make sure to use Monkey Butt powder, it has worked for me......

Does it just hurt or is there a rash? This difference will determine what is required to fix the problem.

Didn't know if I should click on this thread, from the title's text.

JK, nice 1st post & if your seat's an issue...get in touch w/Mean City Cycles. They can mod it for 1/3 price of buying new.

You must have a soft butt. What you need is to do more of these long rides to build up muscle so it doesn't hurt as much.

You might also want to move from the passenger seat to the driver's seat, it is more fun up front.

Like it was mentioned stock seats are horrible for long distances you need to change it out or have it modified for better riding experience.
