I keep reading how great the vrod was but the reality is it didn't have a harley sound which would cause complaints so you might as well have a suzuki engine. The gearbox was a disaster to deal with if there was a problem and they have problems. Take the engine completely apart to fix a jammed shifter, really? Shifter stuck in gear, step one....remove pistons and split engine case. No thanks. I really like the two separate units like a car or truck has.

OHC or pushrods, doesn't matter. The LS1 in 1997 proved a pushrod engine can perform so no need for a Vrod engine.

Assuming the M8 isn't direct injected they can do that to increase efficiency and reduce emissions. They can add variable cam timing which is easier with one cam. They can go with variable length intake runners and variable back pressure exhaust. Tons of room for improvement on the tractor engine to keep the EPA happy

I love this guy's reaction. (Apologies if it's already been posted here).

Cute reaction and all, but he's still trying to sell it to the public. And he mentioned more than once forward controls? For that bike, mid controls are a must. (What were they thinking?)

The current Corvette has a pushrod engine. Nothing wrong with a pushrod engine.

Maybe the designers are locked inside a vault and they just throw some food in every now and then and in this case a picture of a VMax. Forward controls? And the weight, really? A 2014 (last production year) Dyna Super Glide weighs less. I was hoping they would bring back a Dyna with true performance suspension/shocks, less weight and the 114 or even a bigger new design engine.

Right? Got a ride in the lowly Gran Sport with the base motor and it was fast as **** and gets 27 MPG. And there's 2 levels up from that!

That giant air box and exhaust really kill the looks of this bike. Other than that it's not bad looking. Not even near the best looking bike but not horrible. Definitely not worth $21K.

Why buy a bike for 22K + that needs to be bought twice?

Not like any bus I've ever been on.
