Cerekote is what I've been thinking about whenever I get around to it.

Curious to see what everyone is using.
Not at all what we are talking about.

None of the ones I have used have what I would describe as a "wait time" except around 20-30 seconds before wiping down with a micro-fiber towel. The ones I use recommend only working a max 2x2 section on a car because of this.

I have the Kenzo ceramic coating in all painted surfaces on my bike and itsi amazing. Just dust it off when it's dirty, nothing sticks, bugs, dust, and water just slide off .My guy also did the seat with the Kenzo coating for leather and it sheds water like a duck. I recommend it .

Depends on the coating, temp, and humidity. Last one I did, new Track Hawk, removal time started at 45 seconds, extremely humid. Last 2 panels I did was wipe on wipe off. The coating was 22PLE VX Pro2

I am planning on having my bike done. The estimate was $200 - $250 based off of pictures I sent. He said it could change some after he saw it in person.

That is beyond cheap. I wouldn't coat any vehicle that cheap, just wouldn't be worth my time. The coating and towels would eat up all of that. What coating is he using?

On a non-matte paint bike the whole bike should be detailed(wash, iron remover, clay, polish, wash, degrease) to perfection prior to coating because once you put the ceramic coating on it, its a huge pain in the *** to remove it and do more paint correction. That in and of itself could take a few hours. To physically coat a bike only takes like 30 minutes of product application(for a single step ceramic). I wouldnt do a full ceramic coating on a motorcycle for less than 500 or so.

A matte bike is slightly different because you cant really clay and you definitely cant polish, but a through wash and iron remover spray then de-greaser spray is essential(I wouldnt waste the iron remover product on a brand new bike).

Me either. $140-$150 for the coating ,add on the cost of the MF, no money left to be made from that price

I was looking at c-quartz a while back but haven't pulled the trigger. It looks like there are a number of options. Wondering if one has risen to the top in terms of look, durability and application.
