Reduced reach clutch lever

Reduced reach clutch lever
Hello All,
Just thought I would share...
I have medium sized hands, and find that the hydraulic clutch lever on my 2016 Softail Slim has a reach that is a bit too far for me. The "friction" zone for the lever has me using my finger tips to pull in the lever. I would have muscle pains after sitting in traffic too long.
So, I decided to install a reduced reach, adjustable lever (a hogleverage lever).
Took only 10 min to install, very easy, and now works perfect. I adjusted the lever so that now the "friction" zone of the clutch is closer to the grip. Perfect. The reduced reach allows me to pull in the clutch using my full grip, and thus I have much less strain when sitting in traffic.
Highly recommend this for those with smaller hands...

Yes, hydraulic clutch. This lever was one of the only ways to help reduce the clutch effort.
I am also in the process of installing a Rekluse torq clutch pack with light springs to further reduce the effort.
I find that the hydraulic clutch on my Slim S is pretty stiff...

Research Clutch Wiz. It was designed for heavy clutch pull on dressers and trikes. I have used them for years. Still have one in tool chest for my 2020 Sport Glide but neck surgery has improved my hands and may not need it. You won't believe what this CNC'ed clutch pack retainer does for $100. Cuts the effort required by like 30-40 percent. Ask about it on trike forums.

I had started a thread on Hoglevers/Oberon. The brake side may leak down resulting a loss a pressure. A number of riders had the same issue. Do you have the brake side and does it have any issues? I never got a reply from Hoglevers on whether they changed the brake design as you could compare that to stock and see it was sllghtly different.
