Around the city, light to light I can flip it up if I want. I'm getting used to it.
The test will be in the hot Florida summers.
It's a HJC IS Max2

Hey, I'm sure these questions have been asked and answered many times, but it would be convienent to get them answer here.
What brand(s) is the half helmet I see most LEO motors use?
Why do the LEO motors wear Half Hemets rather than FF in the first place? (I suspect I know the answer to this one but would like to know for sure.)

SEER is VERY, VERY common in South Florida and MANY other states I have been in.
The LEOs take the SEER sticker off I understand.
SEER people are GREAT to work with!!! They even custom colored a helmet I had a few times.
One of the ones I hear about a lot is the BELL Pit Boss. <-- That does not have a drop down shield as I recall so I passed on it. I am using a Scorpion with the drop down shield. Half helmet.

It's not the noise that bothers me it's the wind.
Actually I think my hearings better with the modular helmet while moving as I seem to hear all kinds of noises from the bike I never heard before. Like putting on a windshield.

Every once in a while, I will be at the grocery store about a mile away from me and I will leave my ear plugs out 'n ride home trying to hear something odd with the engine or any other part of the bike. Rarely (if not never) have I found anything wrong.
Everyone has to find what works for them.

I have been riding 45 years and have gone through the entire gamut of head apparel from none, to half, to 3/4, to modular, to full. For the last 10 years I have been riding wearing a full face helmet. In my experience I have found this to be true I have found this to be not true My reasons were spurred by T-boning a deer at 50mph with a resulting roll and tumble down the asphalt for 75 yards and winding up in two casts with a totalled bike. Since wearing a full face helmet, I have low bridged vultures and bounced owls and bats (along with various and assorted other airborne objects) off of my helmet and face shield, which further convinces me that I am making the right choice for me.

Very true. I can ride with my Shark Spartan Carbon without earplugs, unless i'm doing long distance. My Simpson Ghost Bandit is like being in a wind tunnel at anything above 30mph and i have to use earplugs all the time.
