Default Shocks: Harley Premium or Progressive?

So I’m going to lower my Limited. What would you rather go with? The Harley-Davidson Premium Adustable Low Touring shocks.... or Progressive 944s?

There are a lot of options out here to look at. Google DK customs, they have a test on several and a comparison chart. The Harleys are at the bottom of most choices. On the HD's one side is adjustable the other is a fixed spring rate. You'll get several recommendations.

Please stick to my question. I’m well aware of the other options.

Really doesn't matter weather it is crappy progressive or crappy HD premium. They are about the same, not very good shocks, about the same money also. Going down from a 13 shock to a 12 inch shock will show even more the weakness and crappy performance of your two choices. You can probably find the HD Premium for less money as many people remove the 12" premium shocks from their bike when they buy it, and install good 13" shocks not made by HD or Progressive. I know I replaced them on my 13 King. In a few months will be replacing them on my 19 CVO RG

both of the options listed are not better than the ones that you already have. you would just be spending money for the sake of spending money. and making your bike ride worse. so what's wrong with the pro action 12s?

Stay with the 13" shock and use the Tamarack 1" lowering blocks from D&K. They work great and you maintain the extra inch of travel in your shocks.
