I have the Hopnel version which I think is pretty much the same and it's a great day cooler.

It does take up the entire saddle bag and you'll want to put it in the saddlebag, then put in the drinks and then stuff it with ice.
I get a 6 pack of beer and four 16oz bottles or water easily in with enough ice to last 8-10 hours in 80+ temp.

I got mine last year for road trip with my Son and it worked fantastic.
Some reviewers stated that theirs leaked but mine didn't spill a drop.

Seems like a nice cooler but have no personal experience with it.
One of my buddies with a Bagger drilled a hole in the back corner of his saddlebag (be sure to dot he right one - not the left) which can be plugged with a small rubber cam lock plug from a boat supply store and it works pretty good for running around Daytona. Some Velco'd in closed cell foam would be better for longer trips where ice is not readily available every gas stop.

I have the Hopnel and found that lining the bottom of the hard bag with a piece of 1 1/2" foam really helps to insulate it from exhaust and road heat.

Hey now that is a very good suggestion I will be doing that to mine, I was impressed at how long it held ice anyways but that will only improve it further!! The one thing I can say is HD forums has been a really good source to pick up tid bits of info such as this I find myself on here often!!

I used 1 inch Styrofoam and cut it to fit into my Electra Glide bags. I lined the all of the sides and the bottom and used Velcro to hold it in place. I don't recall what it all cost but I know it was under $10 to do the whole thing.

Tnx in advance.
I haven't used that particular cooler but I do have a saddlebag cooler and I love it. As long as I keep it upright it doesn't leak. HD sells one, contoured to fit a saddlebag and my wife had heard me mention a saddlebag cooler so she surprised me with one from HD dealer for my birthday. I took it back. Besides being over priced it was too big, took up the whole saddlebag. Don't need one that big and don't want to dedicate a whole saddlebag for keeping a couple of drinks cold.

Bought one off the Internet, just went to the garage and looked for a brand name on a tag or something--but no luck. But it is contoured for a saddlebag and only takes up half a saddlebag and works good. Needless to say it was much cheaper than the HD bigger one. This one I can easily put in 4 bottles of beer and plenty of ice. Might get more than 4 bottles in but don't need to. The 4 in the cooler will hold me till the little fridge in the motel room gets the 12 pack I bought next door cold. And when the saddlebag cooler is empty it folds up and packs down pretty small.
