This is just a guess, but the keyword might be "private" in the phrase "you cannot download a private ride that is not yours".

This tells me that the ride you are trying to download has been marked as "private" by its owner.

Take this with a grain of salt because I do not have that app and have never used it. I just know a bit about software stuff.

 

I didn't get a chance to update the forum until now. The problem was fixed late last night (2/6/2019) - which it why it is now working for those that responded today. Thank you everyone for your help. Enjoy the ride!!

 

Well I'm having problems now. I got a 2018 Ultra Limited with the Boom Box and was trying to download a ride map. I go to the HD Ride Planner and plan the ride but when I go to download the map to my thumb drive it's a blank GXP file 6kb in size. I got to work today and tried it again (don't tell the boss LOL) and now it's saying Windows can't open this file . Any ideas?? I took a pic of it and attached.......thanks all!! Joose

 

There isn't a program in Windows that will open the GPX file. You need to load it to a GPS and open it. You can change the file extension to .txt and open it but you can't do anything with it other than just look at the gpx route in text form.
