nice bike. Too bad it will probably never be ridden again. If it were mine, I would pick up a period correct seat (to replace the busted *** one on the bike) slap some tires on it (keep the originals if possible for originality..... more "clutter" to keep as the wife would say) and ride it from time to time. I personally put more stock in a bike that is still used for its original purpose (ala Wheels Through Time) than one that has been reduced to pure window dressing.

Gorgeous little ride, such an amazing piece of history. The Curated I've been seeing has been getting good lately.

Motorcycle cannonball? Great talk and slide show (and bikes there too) yesterday by Steve Decosa (#2 on link). Some real oldies at the Wintercycle Therapy show in Hammondsport at the Glen Curtis Museum. I dont THINK there were any 07's there though (willing to be corrected)

Now that sounds like a proper Harley, not like one of those new fangled, what do they call them, twin Vee's? You mark my words, Harley Davidson are going to be bankrupt by 1914, just you wait and see. (To be continued for the next 100 odd years).

What a find...well actually sold out of a collection I suppose.
I too wish it would be ridden...even occasionally.

In regards to the close up photos I don't see any wrench/ witness marks on the nuts, screws and bolts.
Just awesome, what a survivor!

Arrow Some things never change...

An old, cool bike, with few miles. I wonder what that story is?

I understand the sentiment of wanting this bike to be ridden but something so rare and original should be left exactly as is. If you tried to get it going you would have to replace the original leather belts, tires etc, then it's not original. leave this thing exactly as it is and preserve it for history. There are a million bikes in the world you can ride, possibly only one bike like this in this original condition. Put down the steel wool and metal polish and slowly back away.
