Sold my Road King a couple years ago. I found it to me too much weight for my back to want to deal with. Now I decided I would like to ride agin but I don’t want to go with a touring model. I’m looking at a 2011 Wide Glide. Would a Wide Glide be recommend for a bad back or if not what other model?

It’s my lower back (lumbar). I’ve had three back surgeries over a 20 year span.
After seeing everyone on here recommends and also doing some other research I’m thinking I’m going to chance it and get a softail (deluxe or springer). Something with floorboards instead of forward controls, a little more stripped down than the road king. Any idea how a seat with springs under it (like a crossbones) is for the lower back? I had a Mustang (forget the model) with backrest on the king and the backrest helped a lot (better than the Harley brand backrest) but the actual seat wasn’t all that comfortable for me.
