Default Cleaning Motorcycle

Any products you guys recommend for cleaning/washing your Harley's? I've been using Honda polish which works nice but looking for something that'll make the chrome shine real nice.

I usually give it a good hand wash first thing when it comes out of storage with whatever car wash I have handy. Then I use S100 for touch ups through out the year. Usually give it a good waxing too at least once per year.

Any mild soap. Dawn works great. Especially if you are a lazy bastard like me and put it away with a few bugs still on it.

Then wax it.

I use RainX soap for the painted areas and Simple Green for the engine and everything else. Knock off wheel cleaner for the wheels if they need it. Then I dry it off with a shop-vac with the hose reversed so it blows air, and a couple towels. Then micro-fiber towels and detailers spray on the painted parts. Auto glass cleaner and micro-fiber towels for the chrome and glass.

Default Cleaning

Rinse off with clean water first, clean from top to bottom with quality car wash, personally like Maquires gold class, spray wheels and engine with guality degreaser and clean with a soft brush. Rinse off with hose, blow off excess water, hand towel dry with micro towels. That's the washing part. Detailing, clay bar, polish with clear coat approved polish, either hand applied or machine if needed. Hand wax,or ceramic coat after that. Use tooth brush to clean and residue. Treat seat, vinyl and plastics with appropriate preservatives.
Then highlighter on the engine. Go for rides, repeat as required. Enjoy your finished work have a beer or two.
