Default Lowrider S value...

Hey guys bought a low rider s in 2016 and it’s just been in the back of my head about possibly upgrading to a road glide. Out of curiosity I looked up the price of some lowrider s in my area and to my surprise they seem to be going for a little more then I bought it for... is this just some guys asking too much and not getting any takers or is there a good market right now considering the death of the dyna, and will the prices last I wonder? What y’all think?

The low rider s is a collectable and holding their value well. I wouldn't get rid of it if I were you. Check other CL adds in different states and you will see the same pattern you are seeing.

Everybody & his muthuh has a RG. Keep the S. Better looking bike, & prolly more fun to ride.

I've seen several for sale for more than new, not seeing many moving at those prices though.

A person can ask any price they want for a bike, doesn't mean someone will pay it though.
A good way to get an idea of the going price for a bike is to look at closed Ebay sales. That will tell what the bikes are actually selling for.

Going from an "S" to a bagger is NOT an upgrade, not even close.

Hmm, all that hate for Dynas and now people are realizing it was a mistake for MOCO to drop the line.
Keep the Lowrider, you will regret selling it a few years from now.
Look what happened to the FXR's.

In my area there were roughly 5-6 for sale now that the riding season kicked off....the ones asking 16 or more are still for sale....the one selling for 13,750 with 2k on it actually sold I believe...(I havent seen it in a while) but even it had been sale for a few months now. Everyone says they are collectible, but I see a LOT of them for sale..

That would be like coming on here and saying that you want to breakup with Jessica Alba so you can go out with Roseanne Barr.
