I had one on my ‘01 fxd,95”,andrews 21 ,mikuni 42,mild head work ,9.4 comp or so. 3/3 on the curve ,5500 limiter.i couldn’t tell the difference between multi spark or not. I used Denso IXU 22 plugs and the bike ran great.

I was going to try setting 5-7 as it said thats a good place to start.. Any info u have is good since we have sams setup
Sold the bike in ‘12. If I used a more aggressive setting,I Gt preignition in the 2900-3300 zone. Carb tuning didn’t help. I highly recommend the Denso plugs and also a Spragg starter clutch,as I didn’t have compression releases and had some heat soak problems even with a jagg cooler.

So u used setting 3 and 3? I have the same build yes i have them heat soak problems as well
Love the bike so u used 3 and 3 on settings? I guess u played around looking for best setting. Yea the andrews 21 and intake close make for fun starting when bikes hot.. Did u run a timing delay? I got 2 rev timing delay to help with kickbacks
